Reserve a Room

Our libraries offer a variety of rooms available for booking, depending on the location you select. Meeting space rentals are free during regular library operating hours. However, certain spaces may be available outside of operating hours for an additional fee. Please see the details below for more information.

Important Note: Each room includes a set number of chairs, and additional chairs are not guaranteed. To request extra chairs, please contact the branch at least one business day in advance to confirm availability.

Minden Meeting Room

The meeting room at the Minden branch is available for reservation free of charge from 8:30 AM to 7:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, and from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM on Fridays and Saturdays. This room is not available for after-hours rental.

A small kitchen area is included, equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot. Floating assets such as a digital projector, laptop, overhead projector, portable easel, slide projector, and portable screen are available for checkout upon request.

The room is approximately 660 sq. ft. (30' x 22') with a maximum assembly occupant load of 44.

The Stewart Center

The meeting room at the Stewart Center features access to a lobby with seating and a small kitchen area equipped with a sink, refrigerator/freezer, and microwave. Reservations are free of charge from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. After 5:00 PM on weekdays and on Saturdays, reservations incur a fee of $25 per hour with a 2-hour minimum. The room is unavailable for reservations on Sundays. Floating assets, including a digital projector, laptop, overhead projector, portable easel, slide projector, and portable screen, are available for checkout upon request. Only after-hours bookings include the adjoining lobby space and kitchenette. The meeting room is approximately 351 sq. ft. (27' x 13') with a maximum assembly occupant load of 24.

The Quad

The multipurpose room at the Minden Main Branch is designed to meet the needs of the local business community. It is available for booking by local businesses only free of charge from 8:30 AM to 7:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, and from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM on Fridays and Saturdays. This room is not available for after-hours use and requires a minimum of 15 participants. Patrons seeking meeting spaces for non-business purposes are encouraged to reserve the Minden Meeting Room or the Stewart Center Meeting Room to ensure this space remains accessible for business use.

Floating assets available upon request include a laptop, tables, chairs, a portable easel, room dividers, a coffee station, and four 6’ x 8’ vertical rolling glassless mirrors. The room measures approximately 888 sq. ft. (14' x 4') + (32' x 26') and has a maximum assembly occupant load of 60.

Springhill Meeting Room

The meeting room at the Springhill branch features an outside access door for convenient after-hours use. Reservations are free of charge from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, and from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM on Fridays and Saturdays. A small kitchen area is available, equipped with an ice maker/refrigerator, dishwasher, sink, coffee pot, popcorn machine, and microwave. The room is also available for after-hours rental with a minimum fee of $50, covering 2 hours of use. Each additional hour is $25, with all meetings required to conclude by 8:30 PM. The room cannot be rented for less than $50. Floating assets, such as a portable screen and laptop, are available for checkout upon request.

Private Rooms

Private rooms are generally available on a first-come, first-served basis. The Minden location offers two small private rooms, while the Springhill location has one large private room. These rooms may not be used for tutoring or any activity involving compensation for services rendered.

For academic testing purposes, private room reservations may be arranged at the Minden location. If all rooms are occupied upon arrival, alternative seating is available in other quieter areas of the library.
